- Key components of Azure architecture: Regions, Resource Groups, and individual Resources.
- Designing mission-critical architectures and understanding disaster recovery targets (RTO and RPO).
Part II: Core Cloud Services
- Storage and data fundamentals: exploring Azure Table Storage and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Compute and container platforms: an overview of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
- Relational data and messaging systems: utilizing Azure SQL Database and Azure Service Bus.
- Practical exercises for each service, covering configuration, deployment, and evaluation against criteria such as availability, performance, security, and pricing.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code with Bicep to ensure reproducible environments.
Day 2: Architecture Leadership and Clean Architecture

Day 3: Domain Driven and Distributed Architectures
Part V: DDD, CQRS, and Event Sourcing
- Domain-Driven Design fundamentals: establishing domain boundaries, creating a ubiquitous language, and implementing model-driven design.
- Concepts of CQRS and Event Sourcing tailored for complex, evolving business domains.
- Architectural patterns commonly employed in DDD-based cloud solutions.
- Hands-on lab: applying Event Sourcing as a requirements-driven design technique, moving from requirements to events, aggregates, and event flows.
Part VI: Microservices
- Principles of microservices architecture and the trade-offs involved in distributed systems.
- Choosing cloud services for microservices-based solutions, considering both benefits and drawbacks.
- Synchronous and asynchronous communication styles in microservices, including reliability patterns like circuit breakers and resiliency strategies.
- Ensuring testability in microservices and CI/CD pipelines: covering contract testing, integration testing boundaries, automated quality gates, and deployment confidence.
- Hands-on lab: building and deploying microservices in Azure using .NET.
Requirements
- Proficiency in an advanced programming language (such as C# or Java).

- At least five years of experience in software engineering.
