Agile Project Management with Kanban Training Course

Enroll in this instructor-led live training on Kenya to master Agile project management through Kanban and Jira. Participants will gain the skills to implement Kanban workflows, tailor Jira to their organizational needs, conduct advanced searches, and generate reports to boost team productivity.

This instructor-led, live training (online or onsite) is aimed at both beginner-level and advanced-level participants. The knowledge and tools provided can be applied in your daily work to optimize workflow efficiency.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Increase the number of work items completed per unit of time.
• Reduce the time required to complete work items.
• Improve work predictability (providing better answers to "When will it be done?").
• Manage flow metrics (throughput, lead time, work in progress, work item age).
• Use flow charts (Cumulative Flow Diagram, Lead Time Histogram, Work Aging Chart).
• Utilize statistical forecasting methods, such as Monte Carlo simulations and Service Level Agreement.
• Design a Kanban System in a methodological way (STATIK).
• Understand Little's Law, which describes the nature of value flow.

This intensive two-day program is tailored to assist teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) in functioning effectively within an Agile setting by utilizing frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP). Participants will gain insights into operating as an Agile Team, managing backlogs, and successfully planning and delivering iterations. The curriculum places significant emphasis on comprehending the team’s function within the ART and fostering collaboration, planning, execution, and continuous improvement in synergy with other teams.

The training equips teams to actively engage in a Program Increment (PI), addressing both Team-level and Program-level events, with a specific focus on PI planning sessions. Upon completing the course, participants will be well-prepared to sit for the certification exam to achieve SAFe® Practitioner (SP) status.
